Lit: Alcoholism, Recovery and the Art of Memoir with Mary Karr | April 13

Spend an evening with Mary Karr, award-winning poet and New York Times best-selling memoirist as she shares her experiences with wit, irreverence, joy and sorrow. Karr is author of “The Liars’ Club,” “Cherry” and “Lit,” and she is the Jesse Truesdell Peck Professor of Literature at Syracuse University.

Karr’s presentation is part of the Provost Lecture Series — which brings renowned thinkers, writers, scientists, artists and leaders to OSU to engage, challenge and inspire. It is presented by the Office of the Provost and the OSU Foundation.

Watch chicks hatch on streaming OSU Extension Chickcam

The chicks are back. For the ninth year, the world can watch eggs hatch via the streaming video OSU Chickcam. Adults can use the Chickcam as an educational tool for their children or watch it on their own just for fun. The cameras will remain on until 5 p.m. March 31.
