Make authentic connections and be an active participant in your Beaver Network at OSU’s largest career connections event of the year, Career Meetup Day.

Keynote speaker:

Isadora Cardoso, ’19, earned her degrees from Oregon State in political science and international relations, and is now getting an M.A. in political science with a focus on Latin America at Columbia University. Originally from Brazil, her interest lies in ways in which equity can be implemented in different environments to drive structural change. Prior to getting her M.A., Cardoso worked at three different nonprofits that focus on educational reform for underserved communities. Currently, she works as a research assistant for a national survey on political knowledge in the Latinx community as well as a graduate assistant for the Alternative Break Program, which develops sustainable projects in developing countries. For her final M.A. project, she is conducting a qualitative research project that will expose the erasure of Black and Indigenous Latinos, which will be presented as an art exhibition with the support of three different academic grants. After graduation, Cardoso hopes to continue to work with the intersections of marginalized communities in the Americas.

The keynote address will be recorded, but not breakout sessions.
