SUPPORTING STUDENTS

A more accessible future

Because he has used a wheelchair since sixth grade, accessibility was a key consideration when Kobey Bonin, ’21, weighed his university options. He found that OSU was ahead of the accessibility game in many ways, but he still encountered challenges on campus. His cousins, Deb and Tim Tyler, were inspired by Kobey’s resiliency, and by the family members who support him. They decided to arrange an estate gift to help quickly address accessibility issues as they arise, so future Beavs with disabilities can focus on their college experience.
