» Oregon State’s Global Formula Racing team took first place competing against top engineering programs in the 2025 Formula SAE Electric at the Michigan International Speedway. The student team — an international collaboration between OSU and Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Ravensburg, Germany — continues their competition season in Europe this summer.

» Josh Gess, mechanical engineering associate professor at OSU, is partnering with industry leaders to develop advanced cooling systems for semiconductors, tackling one of computing’s biggest challenges: managing heat in high-performance electronics.

» Debbie I. Craig has been named the new dean of OSU’s College of Health, bringing a commitment to shaping the future of health education, research and service to communities across Oregon and beyond.

» The Oregon Department of Agriculture awarded $2.15 million to seven projects, including OSU’s Food Science Pilot Plant in Corvallis, to strengthen local food supply infrastructure through facility upgrades and expanded processing capabilities.
