» Nikki Neuburger, ’04, has made Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Influential CMOs for her role in transforming lululemon into a global performance brand. A proud Beaver and former student-athlete, Nikki continues to give back as an OSU Foundation Trustee and champion for student success, including as a recent College of Business commencement speaker.

» Led by Associate Professor Jessica Gorman, a team of researchers in OSU’s College of Health are striving to make systems of care for cancer and its treatment more inclusive and supportive, addressing health disparities so that everyone can receive the treatment, services and support they need to thrive after cancer.

» Michelle Winham-Gee, ’22, M.S. ’24 was one of just 30 Ph.D. students selected for the prestigious Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship. The program supports emerging researchers using high-performance computing to solve complex science and energy challenges.

» OSU College of Engineering researchers are using artificial intelligence to spot subtle changes in the upper atmosphere caused by large earthquakes before traditional ground sensors confirm them — offering a promising way to detect seismic activity in remote regions where ground-based sensors are sparse.

» Six Oregon State baseball players were selected in the 2025 MLB draft. Shortstop Aiva Arquette was picked No. 7 overall in the first round. Selected on day two were Gavin Turley, Nelson Keljo, Kellan Oakes, Wilson Weber and Canon Reeder. Go Beavs!

»Former OSU head coach Pat Casey, who led OSU to three national titles, will be inducted into his second college baseball hall of fame — the American Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame — in 2026. Additionally, current head coach Mitch Canham was named ABCA West Region Coach of the Year after leading the Beavs to their eighth College World Series appearance.

» News from the Pac-12: The Texas State Bobcats are the latest to join the Pac-12 Conference, which now meets the minimum number of teams to remain in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision. Additionally, the conference announced it is extending its partnership with CBS Sports to continue bringing national visibility to sports in the conference.
