» A team of OSU veterinarians in the Lois Bates Acheson Veterinary Teaching Hospital successfully adapted a life-saving heart procedure — more commonly performed in dogs — to repair a fatal defect in a lamb named Squirt, likely a world first! Watch the video.

» OSU Extension Service plays a key role in combating X-disease in Oregon, protecting one of the nation’s top sweet cherry producers from economic losses and job decline through research and grower education, identifying infected orchards and training hundreds of growers in early detection.

» Kyle Hart, ’13, turned his imaginative spirit and fascination with psychology into a meaningful career as the lead trend and concepts footwear color designer at Converse; he has also self-published several children's books with proceeds supporting nonprofit causes.

» OSU’s agrivoltaics student group expanded its solar-integrated crop project, tripling its growing space and implementing a rainwater harvesting system to sustain summer irrigation.

» Wildlife Ecology Associate Professor Jim Rivers has been awarded Harvard’s prestigious Bullard Fellowship to advance his research on native pollinators in working forest landscapes.

  • OSU President Emeritus Ed Ray gave away fresh produce from his garden.
