Celebrating Oregon State's Athletics' achievements
» Another elite OSU student-athlete takes the national stage: Second baseman and Pac-12 Player of the Year Travis Bazzana was selected by the Cleveland Guardians as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft. This makes Oregon State just the fourth college program with at least two No. 1 overall selections.
» OSU is immensely proud of Jade Carey, our world-class gymnast who is set to compete on the global stage for the second time at the 2024 Olympics. Fans gathered to celebrate Carey in a special send-off to Paris — watch the video. Carey told OSU's The Daily Barometer, "This school has given so much to me and gone above and beyond to get me where I am today and I am really excited to represent the Beavers in Paris."
» Congratulations to Oregon State University’s 2024 Hall of Fame inductees! The class includes one coach and 10 student-athletes who will be enshrined this September and recognized on-field during the Oregon State-Oregon football game.
» Former cross country and track and field student-athlete Maureen Tremblay, ’16, earned the 2024 Breaking Barriers in Athletics Award, which recognizes a member of the OSU athletic community whose contributions actively create and encourage gender equity in sports.
» Beavers Without Borders, an international community service program tailored for OSU student-athletes, enabled Beavs to visit and serve in the Dominican Republic this summer. Students partnered with an orphanage and worked alongside people in the community to construct additional rooms for children who need a place to live.
» Two major contributors to the Beavers’ national championship in 2018, catcher Adley Rutschman and outfielder Steven Kwan, were named as starters for the 2024 Major League Baseball All-Star game slated for 5 p.m. PT today — it will air live on FOX. Go Beavs!
