Why Financial History Matters: Provost’s Lecture with Diana B. Henriques | March 14

For more than 30 years, award-winning financial journalist and author Diana B. Henriques has unearthed Wall Street's breaking news, sharing the mistakes of the past as cautionary tales in hopes of preventing future economic calamity. Her impact extends across multiple media, notably her New York Times bestseller, The Wizard of Lies: Bernie Madoff and the Death of Trust, the basis for HBO's film and Netflix's docuseries detailing Madoff's $65 billion investment scam. Explore the history of American finance, from the “wild west” markets of the Jazz Age to cryptocurrency, in a talk based on her newest book and Q&A moderated by the Sara Hart Kimball Dean of the College of Business Tim Carroll. Attend in person or online via livestream.

The No. 4 ranking awarded to OSU this year is based on the quality of OSU's online bachelor's degree programs, the expertise of the OSU faculty who teach online and the support and engagement online students experience.
