OSU welcomes journalist Jelani Cobb | Feb. 1
Jelani Cobb will present Oregon State’s 41st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration keynote, a free public event. Cobb is a longtime staff writer at The New Yorker and Dean of the Columbia Journalism School. He recently co-edited “The Matter of Black Lives,” a collection of The New Yorker's most groundbreaking writing on Black history and culture in America.
Beaver Baseball in the desert | Feb. 18
Sun shining, Beavs playing; what more do you need on a spring day? Registration will open soon for the annual tailgate in the desert as Beaver Baseball makes their season debut at Surprise Stadium in Arizona. Get ready for a celebration that hits it out of the park with great food, drinks, freebies and fun with fellow fans. A game ticket is required to enter the tailgate; get yours online or at the box office on game day.
