Distinguished professor Bernadine Strik was honored with the Duke Galletta Award for Excellence in Horticultural Research for her commitment to research, production and aiding growers of blueberries across the world during her 30-year career.

OSU student film hits the Portland Film Festival

Caleb Johnson’s short documentary, “Nisqually Moving Forward,” was part of the 2021 Portland Film Festival lineup, highlighting renowned tribal leader and Indigenous fishing rights activist Billy Frank Jr. and his son, Willie Frank III.

Nominate alumni for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alumni Legacy Award

Help us recognize more Beavers making a difference by nominating alumni who have demonstrated a deep and abiding commitment to causes of social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion and who exemplify and enrich OSU’s values of community, diversity, respect and social responsibility in their broader community or organization.

Nominations are due Dec. 3. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Alumni Legacy Award winner will be announced Jan. 17 at the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration.
