» The collaborative ingenuity behind OSU’s TRACE-COVID-19 project has earned a place in American history: StoryCorps interviews now preserve the university’s pandemic response leadership in the Library of Congress for future generations. Today, TRACE continues as an infectious disease forecasting system serving Oregon communities.

» OSU’s Advantage Accelerator was named one of TIME’s Top 25 startup accelerators in the nation — the only Oregon program to make the list. The accelerator has helped launch 130 companies and supported more than 500 startup concepts, contributing significantly to economic growth in Oregon and beyond.

» An un-bee-lievable solution for the future of bees and agriculture: OSU researchers have developed a low-cost, AI-driven method to survey and conserve bumblebee populations using remote cameras.

» Good news, cat people. A cat-training program by OSU researchers Monique Udell and Megan MacDonald found that teaching cats new tricks can benefit children with developmental disabilities, strengthening child-cat bonds while helping cats become more social and secure.
