Record numbers graduate from Oregon State

There are 8,785 reasons to celebrate following OSU’s Commencement Ceremony last weekend. This year’s record-size graduating class ranges from ages 18 to 81 and includes 1,448 students who are the first in their family to earn a college degree. We’re proud to welcome them into Beaver Nation’s strong alumni network!

Message received

Thank you to everyone who has helped inspire OSU graduates, from Olympic gymnast and Commencement speaker Jade Carey, ’26; to OSU Alumni Association Board Chair Dan Jarman, ’88, who addressed the new alumni at Commencement; to everyone who shared inspiring messages through BEaver KIND! Your words help set grads up for success and confidence. Dean Moore, ’86, offered these inspiring words: “You have gone so far. Never, ever give up. Keep going no matter what life throws at you. You will face hardships, but remember, countless other Beavers are cheering for you. Never lose track of that important fact.”
