ATHLETICS

» Rallying the fanbase, raising the bar. The Wayne and Gladys Valley Foundation made a $24 million leadership commitment launching the Valley Challenge for Student-Athletes. The challenge involves raising $8 million annually over the next three years, generating $48 million to support revenue sharing. These resources are essential if our coaches and student-athletes are to compete at the highest level. Join the challenge today.

» OSU Women’s Golf advanced to the NCAA National Championships for the fourth time in program history — and for the third time in the last four years, under Head Coach Dawn Shockley — after finishing in third place at the NCAA Stanford Regional.

» Meanwhile, OSU Men’s Golf is hosting the NCAA Corvallis Regional this week, following their second-place finish at the West Coast Conference Championships. Their star power includes Nguyen Anh Mihn, recently named the WCC Freshman Men's Golfer of the Year and selected to the prestigious International Team for the 2026 Palmer Cup.

» Call him big league Bazzana — in late April, the Cleveland Guardians called up former Beaver Baseball star and No. 1 draft pick Travis Bazzana to make his MLB debut. He becomes the 45th Beaver to play at the game’s highest level.
