» OSU students and faculty are part of a nationwide research project helping improve weather forecasts by launching high-altitude balloons that feed real-time atmospheric data into global models.

» College of Pharmacy researchers are advancing solutions for a persistent problem in melanoma treatment with a new type of nanoparticle that allows tumors to be destroyed using a low-power laser, which leaves healthy tissue unharmed.

» For the first time, three OSU students have earned Oregon Consular Corps scholarships in the same year, recognized for their achievements and ambitions in international policy and foreign relations.

» Morgan Stosic, ’19, recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 - Transportation and Aerospace list, is a research psychologist at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, working in human spaceflight and studying how small, tightly knit teams function under extreme conditions.
