COACH'S CORNER: PAT CASEY HEAD BASEBALL COACH MITCH CANHAM

Program alum and captain of the first two national title-winning teams in Beaver Baseball history, Mitch Canham holds himself and his program to a true championship standard. Just two weeks before the 2026 season’s first pitch, Coach Canham sat down with Our Beaver Nation (OBN) to reflect on his journey to becoming the Pat Casey Head Baseball Coach, the unparalleled support OSU Baseball receives from friends, fans, and alumni, and what makes being a Beaver so special.

PUSHING FORWARD FOR FAMILY: GET TO KNOW DEZ WHITE

Dez White, a junior guard from Jefferson City, Missouri, is putting together a strong season for OSU Men’s Basketball. In the offseason, we caught up with Dez to learn more about the man behind the jersey—what brought him to Oregon State, and the tremendous influence his mother has had on his development, resilience, and toughness.

COPENHAGEN TO CORVALLIS: GET TO KNOW ELISA MEHYAR

A sophomore forward from Copenhagen, Denmark, Elisa Mehyar is a fan favorite and an important member of the OSU Women’s Basketball family. On media day, she sat down with OBN to discuss her first career basket (and her team’s unforgettable reaction), the program’s annual team retreat, and why choosing Oregon State was an easy decision.
