At OSU’s Basic Needs Center, student employees support their peers through compassion and action — operating a food pantry that serves 500–600 Beavers each week and offering one-on-one guidance to help fellow students build strategies and find resources when life gets tough.

Ellie Berry, a senior in the College of Health, says, “Relationships are crucial to our work… just knowing that we are there, no matter the circumstances.” Hear from Ellie about the BNC’s work to address food insecurity at Oregon State.
