Zainab Alidina, Ph.D. ’23Research Public Health Analyst, RTI International
Zainab Alidina is Research Public Health Analyst for RTI International. In her current role at RTI International, she supports the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Global Health Protection. Dr. Alidina has a Doctorate in Public Health from Oregon State University. She also has a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor in Economics from York University. She has extensive experience in public health monitoring and evaluation in global and domestic health projects.

Cristina Hernandez, ’15, MPH ’23 | Regional Outreach Coordinator, Oregon Health Authority’s Community Partner Outreach Program (CPOP)
Cristina Hernandez was born and raised in Oregon. Over the last two years, she has served as the Regional Outreach Coordinator the Oregon Health Authority’s Community Partner Outreach Program (CPOP) initially supporting Southern Oregon and now working with community partners in the Willamette Valley Region. In her time with CPOP, she has assisted with the launch of a Community Health Worker training program, developed trainings about navigating the health system (related to Medicaid), and more. Prior to joining CPOP, she worked as a Community Health Worker and OHP application assister serving the Linn and Benton area and later became a training coordinator and facilitator for a Community Health Worker training program in Benton County. Cristina recently received her MPH from Oregon State University.

Katie Hart, MPH ’23Community Engagement Manager, Umpqua Health Alliance
Katie Hart is a dedicated public health professional with a background in social services, local public health, coordinated care, and public health consulting. Her mission is to improve population health by addressing the social determinants of health and promoting health equity. She is currently the Community Engagement Manager at Umpqua Health Alliance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Systems and Policy from Oregon State University.


Grady Maxwell, MPH '09 | Regional Safety and Health Program Manager, Region 10 - Environmental Protection Agency
Grady Maxwell is a Mississippi native that has called the Pacific Northwest home for the last seventeen years. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Master of Public Health in Environmental Safety and Health in 2009 and works for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Seattle, Washington as the Regional Safety and Health Program Manager overseeing the Region 10 (Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington) going on fifteen years. During his tenure at the EPA, he’s aided in deploying staff to help with disasters such as the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill impacting the Gulf Coast and recent Maui Wildfires in Hawaii. In his spare time, Grady enjoys traveling, fishing and recently began practicing archery.
