How did the small country of the Netherlands become the world's second largest exporter of food with only a fraction of the land available to other countries? Join our next Travel Talk webcast with Dave Stone, associate dean of international programs, as he provides a behind-the-scenes look at the College of Agricultural Sciences dean's tour program. Stone will share about the exclusive opportunity to meet the Dutch trailblazers who are driving new innovations in sustainable, efficient agriculture and observe their work firsthand as you traverse enchanting Delft, Amsterdam and the marvelous Friesland region accompanied by Stone and Dean Staci Simonich.

The dean’s tour takes you to the top agricultural university in the world and their state-of-the art research stations, where Dutch farmers, entrepreneurs and leaders are feeding the world and advancing the science of seed production, horticulture and dairy. Embedded throughout the program will be world-class cuisine, art and culture, from Vermeer’s hometown to the famous tulip gardens of Keukenhof.
