Build a fun-filled Homecoming itinerary | Oct. 13 - 15
This weekend, Beavers are celebrating OSU Homecoming across campus — and from everywhere! If you’ll be joining the fun in Corvallis, be sure to close out your special Homecoming visit on Saturday with these festivities:
» The 6th Annual Multicultural Alumni and Friends Tailgate | Free food from BIPOC vendors, T-shirts for the first 100 guests, live DJ
» OSUAA Tailgate Town | Free admission, swag giveaways, indoor games, 1970s theme for Homecoming
» Class year reunions | There’s still time to register for the online program and Saturday tailgate for the classes of 1962, 1970, 1971 and 1972
Your (climate-controlled) tailgate spot | Oct. 22
Nothing says “fall” like donning your favorite OSU crewneck or puffy vest and cheering for your team! Join a free, nostalgic 1980s-themed OSUAA Tailgate Town celebration before the Beavs close out October with a home game against Colorado.
What lies beneath a volcano? | Nov. 2
Join the OSU College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences, for the 2022 Thomas Condon Lecture online and in-person at The LaSells Stewart Center. The speaker, Kathy Cashman, will present on how scientists learn about volcanic eruption triggers and styles based on the conditions under the surface.
Documentary and discussion: To What Remains | Nov. 3
Leading up to Veterans Day, join OSU-Cascades and Project Recover President and CEO Derek Abbey, ’99, to view clips and discuss the documentary To What Remains, which features Project Recover’s mission to find Americans missing in action since World War II. You will also have the opportunity to learn about OSU military and veteran student-supporting programs.
