Three faculty receive elite scientific distinction

Oregon State researchers Lisa Balance, Bradley J. Cardinal and Staci Simonich were selected as 2021 American Association for the Advancement of Science fellows. They bring the total number of OSU faculty bearing the distinction to 152.

Celebrate the 2022 Black Excellence awardees

Oregon State’s annual Black Excellence award ceremony recognized more than a dozen Black faculty, staff, alumni, students and community members for excellence and civic engagement.

Donors committed to first-in-class faculty

Through an initiative led by the OSU Foundation and the Office of the Provost, Oregon State supporters committed $13.8 million in only six months to establish 15 new endowed faculty position funds. The funds will support recruitment and retention of exceptional faculty across seven OSU colleges, bringing the number of endowed faculty position funds at Oregon State to 167, an increase of more than 40 since 2015.
